Summit's rocker-operated suspension is expertly tailored to the 1/16 scale, with all functionality and performance intact, right down to the oil-filled, threaded-bodied GTR shocks. This cutting-edge technology provides capability, performance and tuning functions at the absolute pinnacle of truck design. Suspension and electronics are fully integrated into an innovative monocoque chassis design. Intricately molded as a single piece, the chassis balances strength and weight with function and performance to exceed "mini" category standards. Titan® 12-Turn 550 Modified Engine
The 1/16 Summit features a powerful Titan 12T 550 modified engine with built-in cooling fan - an industry first for this class of truck! Titan's oversized armature (30% larger compared to 540 size fixtures) features 12 turns of pure copper wire for massive torque and increased power handling capabilities. The integrated cooling fan lowers operating temperatures for more fun behind the wheel. The Titan 12T requires very little maintenance and delivers sustained torque and high speeds without fading after every run. Beyond spec, the Titan 12T is made for rock crushing torque, hard wheel launch, explosive jumping and other 4-wheel fun that requires real horsepower.

XL-2.5 Waterproof Electronic Speed ​​Control
Designed and manufactured by Traxxas, the XL-2.5 electronic cruise control provides smooth throttle control and is fully waterproof for all-weather RC riding fun. The XL-2.5 has three throttle profiles, Thermal Shutdown Protection, 6-7 cell NiMH and 2-cell LiPo compatibility, low voltage detection and a built-in BEC. High-frequency operation combined with ultra-low resistance makes the XL-2.5 efficient and ultra-smooth full proportional speed control. The XL-2.5 is manufactured by Traxxas to provide the highest level of quality and support.

Precise 2.4GHz Control
Power up and drive! That's it with the TQ™ 2.4GHz radio system. There are no frequencies to manage, so the focus is on having fun. Race multiple vehicles side-by-side without interference. TQ's advanced programming provides long-range control with smooth, error-free performance. The TQ's ergonomic design is comfortable for all-day riding with a damage-resistant internal antenna.

Track Ready Shaping with Realistic ExoCage
Tough full-size all-terrain vehicles protect their rigs with external roll cages, and Summit does the same with the rugged ExoCage. The solid bolt-on cage provides functional protection and includes rugged-looking fender flares and a realistic light bar to complete the Summit's road-ready look.

Flashing LED Lights
Light up the track at night with Summit's fully functional LED light kit. With four LEDs on the front bumper and four LEDs on the roll cage, Summit illuminates the road ahead. Dual red LEDs in the rear bumper and dual high-mounted taillights allow you to follow Summit's progress from behind.

2.2” Geode Wheels and Canyon AT Tires
Dirt, mud, snow… wherever you run your Summit, you can count on it to dig hard with aggressive Canyon AT tires. The multi-terrain tread features wide, angular ridges that put Titan horsepower down for strong acceleration and all-terrain traction. Rigid 2.2” black Geode wheels support the tires with molded “beadlock” rings.

Ball Bearing Gearbox with Slipper Clutch
The 1/16 Summit's high-efficiency, heavy-duty transmission is built tough enough to handle optional hard-hitting brushless horsepower without costly upgrades, providing full-throttle fun with precision ball bearings and high-strength gears. The adjustable slip clutch lets you tailor power delivery to suit the terrain and your driving style, ensuring every watt of power is converted into pure performance.

Sealed Silicone Filled Differentials
A first in the industry! Only Traxxas offers the superior power handling and tuning capability of 1/16 scale sealed differentials. Heavy-duty steel gear differentials are factory filled with premium silicone fluid to prevent draining and maintain maximum traction and control.

Pivot Ball Suspension
Summit's pivot ball suspension provides smooth articulation and easy adjustment. Rubber-sealed ball bearings prevent dirt, increase precision and reduce friction, while oversized 8x12mm inner bearings maximize durability. For extra safety, the heavy-duty axle knuckle cross pins are captured by inner bearings, another example of Traxxas' attention to every detail.

Universal Articulated Drive Shafts
1/16 Summit's telescopic, universal articulated axles provide optimum drivetrain efficiency and maximum power transfer. The true curvilinear groove design runs freely, and the oversized U-joints set the standard for strength and high-power durability.

Traxxas Power Cell™ NiMH Battery with iD®
In addition to the convenient AC wall-plug charger, the 1/16 Summit includes an iD-equipped Power Cell™ NiMH battery to get all the performance your Traxxas was designed for. Accessory Traxxas iD chargers (sold separately) automatically detect Traxxas iD Power Cell batteries and automatically adjust and optimize charging settings for unmatched charging safety and simplicity. Power Cell packages provide free flowing power and maximum power with premium quality, low resistance cells; flexible, silicone-sheathed wire; heavy-duty welded nails; and high output, gold plated, patented, High Current Connectors. A full optional Traxxas iD Power Cell NiMH and LiPo batteries are available for even greater speed and runtime.

Waterproof Electronics
Mud. Guilty. Snow. The 1/16 Summit's waterproof electronics and fully enclosed receiver box let you monitor in conditions that leave other trucks parked at home. Traxxas' patented innovative waterproof set-top box puts the 1/16 Peak in a league of its own. Antenna and servo cables run neatly through a special waterproof seal. A specially shaped blue O-ring seals the receiver box to protect the receiver from dust and water. Thanks to its unique design, the receiver can be removed for service and even aftermarket receivers can be used without losing the sealing properties of the box.

Digital High Torque Waterproof Steering Servo
Small but powerful 2080 servo, 41.7 oz.-in. Tire rotation torque with digital circuitry for responsive control even in water, mud and snow thanks to its O-ring sealed waterproof construction.

Dual Battery Compartments
With the included 7.2 volt Power Cell NiMH battery pack, the 1/16 Summit is ready to tackle the road – but that's just the beginning. The case's dual battery compartments let you add a second NiMH battery pack and Traxxas parallel connector (both sold separately) for twice the runtime and twice the fun!

Quick Release Battery Covers
Summit uses an innovative solution for easy battery installation. Quick-release battery doors open and close in seconds for quick and easy access.
