TQi 2.4 GHz Traxxas Stability Management TSM® with Micro Receiver, Traxxas Link and TSM (5 channel) (# 6533) (three quarter view) lets you experience all the incredible power, speed and acceleration your Nitro was designed for. It makes control much easier on common slippery surfaces such as dirt, smooth concrete and even ice and snow. When you push it out of the line, the TSM senses the vehicle's direction and makes steering corrections to provide straight forward full throttle acceleration without fishing, skidding and loss of control. The TSM also works during cornering, first making intuitive corrections to keep your line and then letting you hit the throttle earlier on the turn for much faster exit speeds. Braking is significantly improved as the TSM tries to keep your vehicle level until it comes to a complete stop.

EZ-Start® Electric Start
With EZ-Start, there is no need for starter wires, spark plug heaters, or by-product hassles for starting. Instead, all you have to do is plug the EZ-Start into the starter port and press the start button. You can operate Slash with just one hand! Traxxas EZ-Start lights up the glow plug and starts the engine in seconds, and exclusive Smart Start™ technology monitors critical starting functions, automatically detecting and diagnosing potential problems for smooth engine operation every time. LEDs provide real-time status, alerting you even when a glow plug fails.

Oil Filled Ultra Suspensions™
Nitro Slash's advanced oil-filled Ultra Suspension uses X-ring technology for a perfect seal and super smooth performance. They are fully adjustable with a wide variety of oils, springs and pistons. Features include pressurized inner tubes for air/oil separation and spring clips to precisely change ride height and spring preload. They can be renewed in minutes with our inexpensive shock replacement kits.

Large High Volume Dual Stage Air Filter
Nitro Slash's high output TRX 3.3 engine breathes fresh air through a large air filter. The dual-stage design traps large particles in the outer element, while the inner element circulates fresh air to the engine. Larger diameter foam elements allow for more airflow, and more air means more horsepower.

150cc Fuel Tank
More fuel means more driving time between refills, and with the 150cc internal, the Nitro Slash gets longer every time. The drawbar makes it easy to lift the tank for quick filling, and the tank is specifically designed to maintain consistent fuel flow no matter how rough driving conditions. The lowered sump of the tank keeps the fuel collector submerged, and the baffles prevent fuel from flowing out of the sump.

Magnum 281™ Transmission
The Nitro Magnum 281™ single speed transmission is made of Nitro Tough™ with 32 pitch gears, metal top gear and idler gear and smooth running, long life precision ball bearings. This proven, track-tested, three-speed design is built for performance driving applications.

Adjustable Clutch
The slider clutch on the Nitro Slash is fully adjustable to control power output to the rear wheels for increased traction control on a wide variety of surfaces. It also protects the transmission during high-impact jump descents.

Planetary Gear Differential
The Traxxas planetary gear differential has a nylon housing for long life. It uses hardened steel internal gears for maximum strength in tough terrain conditions. This type of differential is virtually maintenance free and its efficient design applies maximum shredding torque to the wheels.
