60+ MPH (100KM) MAXX® POWER
Traxxas Velineon® brushless power, the awe-inspiring 60+ mph top speed is reached in 4 seconds by applying tremendous force to the wheels when you want it. The high output 540XL motor has a powerful 5mm shaft, aluminum heat sink and powerful fan. Of course, they are all fully protected by Traxxas' innovative waterproofing.

TRAXXAS DURABILITY™
The Maxx is overbuilt with components found in much larger and heavier vehicles to withstand extreme penalties and intense driving motions. The Maxx case absorbs and disperses impact energy throughout the entire structure for superior strength. Huge threaded aluminum GT-Maxx shocks with oversized shafts absorb big bounces for high-flying fun at every turn.

The WideMaxx stance elongates the wheels by 1.5 inches (40 mm) for even more stability.

LONG CHASSIS
The extended chassis length now houses our most powerful batteries, the 6700mAh 4-cell LiPo batteries used in the X-Maxx.

SLEDGEHAMMER® TIRES
Longer Sledgehammer tires feature an aggressive open block tread design that clears mud and debris for unrivaled traction.

Maxx's integrated shock towers are part of the chassis and form a rigid, triangular structure for secure mounting of shocks and body. They also provide an authentic off-road look that fills in the wheel cavities of the truck. Sometimes the landing after a jump doesn't go as planned, so the upper shock mounts are covered for protection against bumps and chafing.

Waterproofing our models has never been an afterthought at Traxxas. Patented Traxxas innovation insulates water so your playground passes through water, snow and mud. Dirty truck? You just need to wash it with a hose. New style box provides fast radio access without removing it.

Maxx's oversized double wishbone suspension arms maintain proper suspension geometry throughout the entire range of motion. Double shear links and extra-thick steel upper and lower tie rods provide incredible strength and impact resistance. Tough new composites offer greater resistance to impact damage, even in cold weather.

Modular Chassis

The interlocking chassis design connects the shock towers, front and rear modules and mainframe into a single rigid platform designed to absorb and dissipate impact energy throughout the entire structure. Critical drivetrain, radio and battery components are protected to keep the Maxx off the workbench and have fun. Strategically placed tool access is thoughtfully placed to make performing any necessary maintenance or repair a snap.

Traxxas' innovative Cush Drive uses a special elastomer shock absorber to absorb powertrain shocks from the spur gear for superior reliability. With nothing to pan or adjust, Cush Drive provides instant acceleration and throttle control.

Torque-Weight Center Drive absorbs shocks to increase drivetrain durability. The central drive distributes power to all four wheels for mind-blowing driving acceleration without the side effects of a typical center differential. Center differentials allow uncontrolled ballooning of the airborne tires, while the four-wheel torque-weighted Center Drive distributes uninterrupted power to all four wheels, allowing them to come off the line.

WHAT YOU NEED TO COMPLETE

LiPo Battery
Traxxas recommends a 4-cell 14.8V Power Cell LiPo battery for maximum performance. The 3-cell 11.1V LiPo battery will run the vehicle with poor performance. NiMH batteries are not supported.

LiPo Balance Charger with iD™
Traxxas EZ-Peak Live 4s capable charger is recommended for easy and fast charging performance (model #2971).

AA Alkaline Batteries
