VTOL (Vertical Takeoff and Landing) RC models are often a mixed bag when it comes to performance. Their speed and agility are often inadequate. If they are agile, pilots have to work harder to transition to multi-engine airplane flight. The e-flite® Convergence® VTOL drone changes all that. Their unique designs and proprietary flight control software give you the best in both agility and stability, while making the transition between multi-engine and airplane flight so simple and predictable that you'll feel comfortable and confident even on your first flight.

The e-flite® Mini Convergence® VTOL is a more compact version of its larger counterpart that you can fly to more places and smaller spaces, including indoors. Its smaller size, quiet brushless motors and improved flight control software make it less intimidating and easier to fly indoors in multi-engine mode, while switching between multi-engine and airplane flight outdoors is easier than ever. Mini Convergence uses a simple and stylish delta-wing design with three brushless motors - two rotating motors in the wing and a fixed-position motor in the tail. In multi-engine flight, the wing-mounted engines rotate to the vertical position, along with the tail engine, to provide lift and flight control. In aircraft flight, the wing-mounted motors rotate forward towards the horizontal position and take over control of the model's elevations, pitch, and roll/roll. You also get impressive yaw control in airplane flight with the differential thrust from the engines.

Stylish and Simple

Unlike more complex VTOL aircraft that rotate the entire wing and require up to four motors to achieve vertical and forward flight, Mini Convergence uses a simple and stylish delta wing design with three brushless motors - two rotating motors on the wing and one fixed in the tail position motor. In multi-engine flight, the wing-mounted engines rotate to the vertical position with the tail engine to provide lift and flight control. In aircraft flight, the wing-mounted motors rotate forward towards the horizontal position and take over control of the model's elevations, pitch, and roll/roll. In aircraft flight, yaw control is provided by differential thrust from the wing-mounted engines.

Special Flight Control Software
At the heart of it all is flight control software that has been expertly tuned, updated and improved by our engineers. The result is more consistent and reliable flight performance that makes it even easier for nearly every RC pilot to experience the fun of VTOL flying.

Auto Switch
Switching between multi-engine and airplane flight is as simple as the flip of a switch. The flight controller smoothly rotates the two wing-mounted engines to the correct positions and activates the rear engine as needed.

Two different Flight Modes:

Stability Mode
In multi-engine flight, Stability Mode limits pitch and bank angles and works to maintain aircraft level when you let go of the sticks. This allows you to take off and land like a pro, even if you've never flown a multi-engine airplane before. In airplane flight, Stability Mode limits the pitch and bank angles and automatically returns the aircraft to level when the sticks are released, for the easiest RC VTOL experience anywhere.

Acro Mode
In Acro Mode, there are no angle limits or self-correction at any stage of flight. During multi-engine flight, the Mini Convergence will operate like a conventional multi-engine airplane, tilting and banking in the direction you want it to fly. It can even turn and roll like other multi-engine airplanes. In airplane flight, Acro Mode lets you perform a wide variety of aerobatic maneuvers, including loops, rolls, and more.
