Designed by Dave Hemmingson, the founder of DCB (Dave's Custom Boats), the DCB M41 Widebody catamaran is one of the largest models offered in the DCB M-Series. Traxxas faithfully captured the incredible looks and performance of the DCB M41 in a detailed scale replica that is versatile, fun and fast. The catamaran hull offers the speed, stability and confidence the full-size M41 is renowned for, allowing you to have fun wherever your water adventures take you. The M41 replica can reach speeds of 80+ km/h, faithful to the speed performance of the original. Razor-sharp handling allows you to make turns with authority and precision, and offers easy control when cruising on shore.

Based on the full-size M41 Widebody designed and manufactured by Dave's Custom Boats, the Traxxas M41 achieves its unique, aggressive look thanks to its use of catamaran hull design. Instead of using a single hull with a V-shaped design, the catamaran uses two parallel hulls of equal size. This body design offers more than a distinctive visual presentation; The catamaran offers a wider stance on the water for greater stability and less hydrodynamic resistance. This also allows the M41 to use less energy to propel itself over water, making it incredibly fast. The M41 gets you on the plane almost instantly, allowing you to have fun faster - 50+ mph setup on 6S LiPo power.

The sensorless Velineon 540XL motor is designed for ultra-high temperature fabricated Neodymium magnets, a precision balanced rotor and efficient, high speed and high rpm performance and reliability of the M41 In-Body and Battery Trays (Blue). The motor and ESC system are water cooled so they do not overheat even at peak performance. Spartan keeps his cool by running for all-day hassle-free fun.

Big Boat, Big Fun
The M41 is a water-perched speed beast that is also a work of art. At just over 40 inches (1 meter), the M41 has a noticeable presence. Turn on the gas and let the fun begin! The size and design of the M41 gives it the versatility to work well in a wide variety of conditions. The M41 is stable and easy to control, whether you're driving over waves on a large lake, crossing a shoreline, or testing a top speed of 50 mph in a flat pool.

Removable Power Tray and Rigid Internal Structure
A unique feature of the M41 is its robust interior with removable electronics tray and motor mount. The VXL-6s electronic speed control, waterproof receiver box and powerful 2056 high torque steering servo are bolted securely to the tray. The motor is mounted independently in a motor housing, which increases the rigidity of the body. In just a few minutes, the electronics can be removed for maintenance. The internal structure includes an integrated, reinforced crossmember to provide a solid mounting surface for the control and drive systems. All M41 offers the ruggedness and reliability needed for all-day fun after the run.

Detailed Cockpit
Traxxas has reproduced the masterfully sculpted cockpit of the M41 with great attention to detail, from the gauges and speakers to the steering wheel and seats. The elaborate cockpit flows with the rest of the boat to become a high-performance work of art.
In-body Flex Cable Drive System
The M41 features an efficient and reliable flexible cable drive system that mounts securely to the internal structure. This unique setup provides easy access to various drivetrain components for quick maintenance or upgrades.
High Performance Prop
The M41 is equipped with an optimized surface piercing support to level the body as fast as possible without cavitation. The brace is made of a molded composite structure that is lightweight and robust without the need for balancing or sharpening.
Strut High Strength Aluminum Hardware
For efficient power transfer and extremely sharp handling, the M41 is equipped with rigid drive hardware and an inflexible traverse. These components let you experience every ounce of exceptional brushless horsepower and performance. The rudder, rudder support and drive assist are extruded and machined from solid 6000 series aluminum alloy for maximum strength. Parts are polished and anodized a brilliant blue. The rudder also includes a pickup that feeds water from the cooling system.
