Traxxas Stability Management (TSM)

TSM, Traxxas Stabilization Control, allows you to control the power, speed and acceleration provided by Traxxas models in a much easier and fun way. It provides more controlled turns and drift performance in all road conditions such as soil, ice, snow and asphalt. In bends and sharp turns, it allows the vehicle to go to the point you want to steer without losing control or spinning. Thus, your vehicle can make sharp turns without losing gas during turns. In addition, the TSM system helps you to stop your vehicle in sudden braking without losing control.

MAXX Power

The new VXL-8s ESC system is an all-new Traxxas design that combines advanced microprocessor control with sophisticated software for smooth responsive performance and a rich feature set. The VXL-8s provide real-time telemetry to the Traxxas Link application with the optional TQi Wireless Module (part # 6511, sold separately). The all-new Velineon 1200XL Big Block brushless motor delivers 50+ mph and enormous pulling torque.

Renewed Shock Tower Design

The X-MAXX's shock towers offer a rigid, triangulated structure and an authentic off-road look that fills the truck's wheel openings. They also act as a handy carrying handle and provide ground support for the X-MAXX when placed upside down for cleaning.

Double Cooling Fan Rock-Solid Motor Assembly

A completely new motor mount design supports the motor in a way that it cannot flex on the housing. The threaded mesh is held firmly in place with keyed pins, so no difficult adjustments are needed. Eliminating flex means longer gear life even in the toughest conditions. The new dual fan assembly helps cool the engine for longer run times and maximum fun.
